About Us
Disaster Scope provides unique consulting services to federal, state and local governments and private non-profit businesses in all areas of disaster management: preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.
Disaster Scope was initially founded to meet the needs of local governmental and private non-profit agencies in Southern California as they pursued disaster recovery from the Northridge Earthquake and subsequent disasters. Following the devastating hurricanes along the Gulf Coast in 2005, we expanded our services by providing technical and policy support to the federal government, both out of the Joint Field Office in Louisiana and offices in California.
We provide assistance to local, state and federal agencies in every stage of disaster recovery from basic grant program application, project development and mitigation to federal policy consultation, extensive negotiation and formal appeals.
Disaster Scope continues to expand its expertise to assist federal, state and local governments and private non-profit institutions.
